About Mind & Motion Studio

Welcome to Mind & Motion, my heart's endeavor that goes beyond the label of a boutique Pilates studio.

Here, we're not just offering Pilates; we are nurturing a community. A space where kindred spirits unite, moving beyond their comfort zones, and discovering the joy of moving seamlessly through daily life. Whether it's rehabilitation post-injury, a chance for mums to reclaim a moment for themselves, or simply a haven where everyone knows your name – this is a place to exhale, to be authentically you.

Our classes extend beyond the ordinary, catering to beginners and advanced practitioners alike. Dive into Mat and Reformer Pilates or indulge in the therapeutic realm of Myofascial Release (MFR) classes. We don't just stretch; we lengthen, release, and embrace the holistic approach to well-being. Day retreats offer a pause, a rejuvenating escape, while our corporate collaborations bring the essence of movement to the professional world.

Mind & Motion is your haven, whether you are rediscovering exercise, on the mend after an injury or surgery, aiming to enhance flexibility, tone, integrate Pilates into your HIIT regimen, or simply seeking a precious hour for yourself.

This isn't just about physical fitness; it's a journey of self-discovery. Here, you'll uncover the intricacies of your body and mind, leaving with tools that transcend the studio, keeping you aligned and grounded in the bustling world beyond.

Welcome to a space where movement is a celebration, and well-being is a lifestyle. Welcome to Mind & Motion.

About Natalie

As a devoted Pilates teacher, Holistic Wellness Coach, and proud mum to a wonderful son, I've woven a tapestry of diverse roles throughout my journey.

My fascination with movement stems from an early age, embracing dance, sports, and even joining my mom's aerobics classes and gym adventures at a very young age. Over the past 12 years, I've delved deep into the wellness realm, aligning my path with functional medicine research and crafting my own health narrative.

In my daily life, I'm dedicated to a holistic approach, prioritizing low toxicity, natural choices, and opting for self-grown and organic foods whenever feasible. Amid the sea of conflicting research, I champion common sense, steering clear of extremes in lifestyle, diet, or movement. This realisation fuelled my passion for Pilates and wellness coaching, where I guide clients toward sustainable changes in their postures, lifestyles, and health.

Certified as a Polestar Reformer teacher, I've undergone comprehensive Mat and apparatus training with Polestar. Currently, I'm actively pursuing my exam in Comprehensive training and continually honing my skills through ongoing education with one of the world's premier Pilates schools.

In the realm of wellness, I've completed a Health Coaching course with the IIN Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Staying abreast of the latest trends and insights in the wellness space is not just a commitment but a passion.

My purpose is to share this wealth of knowledge through Pilates instruction and personalised Holistic Health coaching. Let's embark on a journey together towards holistic well-being, one that transforms not just bodies but lives.

  • Absolutely, we recommend you are cleared for exercise with your healthcare provider. We do recommend starting with one on one sessions so we can work at your pace and tailor your program specifically for your body.

  • While Joseph Pilates drew his knowledge from a variety of disciplines, including yoga, gymnastics, martial arts to name a few, Pilates exercises are unique- they awaken your mind-body connection, as the movements are very specific. Each Pilates exercise is a whole body exercise (including your brain as my clients like to say). You will be able to move better, feel and have better command of your body, improve posture and flexibility, prevent injuries and much more.

  • We work with Corporate clients and offer packages from a one hour introductory mat Pilates class to a 3-hour retreats. Reach out for more information.

  • We recommend starting with mat Pilates class. You can find a blog post about it here. If you are unsure- come for an introductory one on one session, which includes your friendly fitness assessment and allows you to try both mat and Reformer Pilates.
